Reflection

The feedback I received on my proposal was very helpful.  It guided me towards considerations about camera angles, lighting, and how it may be perceived conceptually that I had not previously thought out.  I have found clarity in the direction that I want to take from here.  In my storyboard I was unsure  if I wanted the "mask" being put on to be of makeup or of paint.  I was not sure how dramatic I wanted to make it.  Through talking it out and herring outside perspectives I decided that I wanted to use dramatic face paint with extreme darks and lights rather than just makeup.  I realized that makeup would have conceptually geared towards a feminist statement and that I was not referring towards women inclusively.  I  still need to experiment with a few different camera angles but am excited to create this stop motion.
