Crit Reflection

I really appreciate the donuts. The black box, however, is a dungeon. I guess that is just the nature of critiquing video art. I enjoyed seeing everyone present their stop-motion animations, and I really noticed how my thinking is different from the majority of the class. I was self-conscious about my video because I was worried the class would not understand the concept of 2058. I realized my video had some major flaws because it presented 2058 as a party house, which was not the goal. 2058 should be recognized as a creative, free space for the people living there. Next time I do a project on the house, I will be a lot more observant with the content. I had a lot of photographs that didn't make it in the video (almost 3000) and next time I will edit more carefully. The 1-minute time limit was helpful in creating a restriction, but I think in my case, it hindered the video.
